General Description

Dr. Eric Feng-Jihu Lee (1962- ), professor of the Graduate Institute of Education, National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan, is a philosopher of education who did his undergraduate work in philosophy and history of education in Taiwan, and completed his graduate research respectively in Taiwan (M.Ed. in Moral Education) and the United Kingdom (Ph.D. in Meta-ethics and Moral Education, University of Reading).
Dr. Lee's major areas of inquiry include philosophy of education, history of education, comparative education, critical pedagogy, meta-ethics, moral and character education and teacher education.
Dr. Lee has served as an evaluator for the accreditation of higher education institutes, an examiner for the Government Officer Examination and the Advanced Officer Examination, and a reviewer for the Certification of Qualified School Teachers. Dr. Lee has also chaired the Research Programs sponsored by Ministry of Science and Technology (then National Science Council) every year since 1995. He has had several officially sponsored research programs from the other public agencies as well.
